Defenders drop to the floor, so watch ground items rather than waiting for an inventory message. After the rune defender, use the basement or Warriors Guild 2 for the dragon defender. Claim collection-log rewards through ::collect and use the proceeds for a direct combat upgrade rather than opening unrelated boxes.

Build the first cash stack from repeatable bosses

Lava Fire Giants at ::lava, Bork at ::bork, Barrelchests, and Zulrah are the intended early money encounters. They provide guaranteed cash drops alongside boxes or table rolls, which makes them better progression checks than a method that only pays on a rare item.

The Ring of Bosses is a practical early utility goal because automatic looting reduces missed drops and banking friction. Improve one combat style first. Mixed low-tier gear delays the point where a boss can be farmed consistently.

Move from Vorkath into Hydra

Vorkath at ::vorkath gives a guaranteed cash drop and requires a new teleport after each kill. Move away from the orange boulder attack, keep moving through the green acid phase, and reactivate protection prayers after pink fire disables them.

Hydra at ::hydra also gives guaranteed cash and requires re-entry after each kill. Lure Hydra through the colored pools in anti-clockwise order to reduce its defence. The Hydra Eye combines with a Deadman Cape at the forge to create the Hydra Cape, a useful drop-rate upgrade for continued PvM.

Upgrade into Elite Slayer and Echo content

Use the official gear ladder rather than buying whichever custom item has the largest price. Early established setups include Sacred Clay with Scythe of Vitur X for melee, Sagittarian with Hand Cannon X for ranged, and Ancestral with a Twisted Slayer Helm and Sanguinesti Staff X for magic.

Elite Slayer and Echo progression demand stronger equipment. Later targets include Sirenic with Hand Cannon XI, Masterwork with Sanguine Scythe, and Necrolord with Holy Mythical Sang. Upgrade the active combat style first, then build the second style required by the next encounter.
