Old School. Your Build. Obsidian keeps the world and equipment you know, then gives you more ways to build your account. Train in Gielinor, take Slayer assignments, collect real loot and turn your drops into lasting progress. Loot With a Purpose Collect physical Obsidian Sigils, Cores, Catalysts and Perk Essence alongside normal loot. Bring your materials to the Forge to craft specific perk tomes and develop your build. Familiar weapons and armour stay relevant: Obsidian enhances existing progression rather than replacing it. Choose Your Effects Learn perks from usable tomes and choose which unlocked perks to equip in Equipped Tomes. At the Upgrade Station, inspect each named effect and material cost before applying it to your equipment. Start Ready to Explore New characters receive melee, ranged and magic equipment, runes, arrows, tools, coins and food. A guided Grand Exchange home tour shows the real service windows. Choose a first combat or gathering adventure and earn a physical Apprentice Core. Play Your Way Play Standard, Ironman, Hardcore Ironman or Ultimate Ironman. Economy OSRS in the Gielinor map everyone knows, and PvM does most of the work here. Slayer assignments and skilling handle the grind outside bossing. Obsidian materials drop as physical items next to regular loot, then get forged into perk tomes, with sockets and named upgrades stacking onto gear.…
