Secure the account and learn the core commands
Roat Pkz creates an in-game account when an unused username and password successfully logs in. Forum credentials are separate. Use a unique password, then run ::setemail before putting time or wealth into the account.
Use ::home for the main hub, ::shops for permanent purchases, ::getid item_name to find spawnable equipment, ::drops to inspect monster loot, and ::tp to open the Trading Post. These commands cover most early decisions without relying on another player.
- ::home: return to the main hub.
- ::getid item_name: find and spawn eligible items.
- ::kits: save complete combat loadouts.
- ::drops: inspect an NPC drop table.
- ::tp: open the player Trading Post.
Build three custom kits before entering the Wilderness
Open ::kits and save a low-risk melee setup, a ranged or hybrid setup, and a PvM or Slayer setup. A saved kit restores the same inventory pattern quickly after a death and removes the temptation to carry an expensive item by accident.
Spawnable equipment is the baseline, not the entire economy. Check the items-kept-on-death interface whenever a kit contains PK Point gear, charged Wilderness weapons, an emblem, or another unspawnable. Test an unfamiliar setup with replaceable items before increasing risk.
Choose a first PK Point route
PK Points are the main Roat Pkz currency. A player kill awards 2 PK Points, rising to 4 during double PK Point weekends. Edge is the simplest place to learn ordinary fights; Varrock, Brid, Easts, Wests, F2P, and Funpk support different styles and risk levels.
If direct PvP is inconsistent, use Wilderness Slayer or PvM instead. Voting through ::vote increases monster drops by 20%, so claim that boost before a planned PvM session rather than after it.
Use Wilderness Slayer for structured progression
Roat Pkz Slayer takes place in the Wilderness. Get an assignment from Krystilia at ::slayer and carry an enchanted gem to check the task. Treat every trip as a PK risk: bring enough supplies to finish a useful block of kills, but do not carry wealth that the task cannot repay.
The first useful unlocks are situational. Bigger and Badder costs 150 Slayer Points and enables superior variants; Like a Boss costs 200 and enables boss assignments. The Slayer helmet costs 125 points, while its imbued version costs 250 and supports all three combat styles. Avoid spending early points on task extensions until the base task is already efficient for the account.
- Check the Wilderness level and escape route before attacking.
- Use cheap kits until the task and local PK traffic are familiar.
- Bank valuable drops between task segments.
- Do not assume a charged Wilderness weapon is protected on death.
Convert Bounty Hunter targets into emblem value
Bounty Hunter matches targets and rewards consecutive target kills. Killing a target while carrying an emblem upgrades the highest emblem in the inventory by one tier. A normal account also has a 45% chance to receive a tier-1 emblem from a target kill.
Dying with an emblem gives the killer one tier below the emblem carried, with tier 1 as the floor. Sell emblems to the Emblem Trader at home for Bounty Hunter Points. Emblem farming and buying or selling arranged emblem kills are explicitly against the rules.
Use the Trading Post without trusting stale prices
PK Points are the common unit of value, but Slayer, Bounty Hunter, vote, skilling, minigame, and other activities use separate currencies. Decide which shop reward is the goal before grinding a secondary currency.
The ::tp Trading Post is a listing board rather than an instant Grand Exchange. Compare several active offers, contact the seller, and confirm the exact item in the trade window. Value equipment by recent executable offers, not an old guide price or an isolated listing.
